News From Adriana's Foster Family!

I just got a letter from Ann the lady in China who translated our letter to Adriana's foster family. The foster family got the letter and called Ann immediately. She said they were so excited and were staying home from work on the day that we are going to be able to visit them in Nanchang. The email was full of exclamation marks! They said they are very excited to see "their girl". They also said they have pictures of Adriana they want to give us. Alphonse and I are really excited about this as we weren't really planning on going to Nanchang in the first place. As Stacey, (our friend who we met when we went to adopt Adriana and now is going with us to China again, for her son, who incidentally is in the same orphanage as Lileah) has been saying lately, it was meant to be. Adriana is sleeping now but when we tell her she is going to be so excited! She likes the stories we tell her about her foster family. She especially likes the one we tell her about them giving her candy before she went to sleep. She thinks this is just the best thing ever!
