Today was Adriana and daddy day as Anna Maria and Lileah stayed at the hotel. Adriana at the south west corner of Tienanmen Square. Almost 4 years ago we were here with her and she wanted her picture taken here. 
The is the entrance way to the outer gate of the Forbidden City with the Red Army Guard change. Almost reminds me of my marching days at Depot but without Cadet Kelders bear walking in the rear section.

North east corner of Forbidden City - Watch tower. I dropped the camera in the Forbidden City and the card fell out which in turn made the pictures get saved right on to the camera so I can't upload any other pictures from it from this excursion until we get home. Adriana was a really good tourist today and walked and was carried Empress style about half of the trip which was really good for her as it was a long walk through the city.
Lileah and I stayed back at the hotel today as yesterday was a bit much for her and she really didn't enjoy the long day. She was able to hang out and play with her toys and practice walking. She was walking across the room like she was on a tossing boat, but was able to keep her balance for a long time before falling. She had two naps and ate almost the whole time she was awake! It was a nice relaxing morning and afternoon for us. We were happy when Alphonse and Adriana came back to the hotel room though. We had a really crazy supper at a local restaurant. Stacey, Mike and Debbie had lunch here with our guide and really enjoyed it so we thought we would go again for supper. We thought we would be able to order something we could eat as there were pictures and an English translation underneath. Our meal was actually pretty descent but it was hot, loud and with 4 needy kids, two of which should have been in highchairs it was a bit much for everyone! We were happy to get back to our little homes away from homes! Tomorrow is a shopping day so look out Beijing!
