Day 8- Jinan- Our visit to Lileah's orphanage.

Here is a family picture taken at the Notary's office. We found out today that we are the 9th and 10th Canadians to adopt from this province and we are the first ones since 1998. This canal is right outside our hotel. These pictures were taken yesterday.

This is right at the doors of Lileah's orphanage
Here she is with some of her caregivers. She is so happy to see them.

This little guy slept right beside her in her room. They were happy to see each other. When one of the caregivers saw Lileah come in she said something and went running down the corridor and came back with him.

This is Adriana and Lileah at Lileah's crib. I think she thought it was time for bed as she was pretty tired and it was her nap time!
We went to visit Lileah's orphanage today and it was fairly stressful for Lileah. She really enjoyed seeing all her caregivers and friends again. We got to see which room she slept in and we even got a picture of her in her old crib with a few of her friends. It was crazy for awhile there as everyone was coming at us wanting to say hello and good bye to her. She certainly was loved as the caregivers were all very pleased to see her. She was so happy to see them too. She was full of smiles for all of them but there were a few favorites of hers. We tried to get pictures of everything we could so Lileah has lots of pictures when she is bigger. We also got some pictures of Lileah in her Early Education Training room with her friends. By this time she was tired and cranky and a little hungry so we were ready to leave. There was a bit more to do at the orphanage so Alphonse took Lileah to the van to try and get some sleep. We had to wait around for the director to copy the pictures on to a disk that they had of Lileah. It was a very nice visit but it was quite emotional for Lileah and for us as well.
